Royal Knight's Castle (6090)
I recently finished rebuilding my old Lego castle that I was gifted for Christmas back in the 90s to go with my other classic Lego sets on display.
The feelings of nostalgia, joy and fond memories from that day when I first opened the present that I had desperately wanted all rushed back as I picked out each part and worked through the now rough (and well-used) instruction manual that has travelled with me over the years.
When I saw this competition advert, I knew I had to enter my attempt at micro-ifying my beloved castle. Sadly, I didn't have the time to spare to build the model, but I read in the rules that there was software you could use and decided to give it a shot.
After learning how to use the camera properly, I finally got underway. I wanted to try and provide as many of the fun functional parts of the castle (skeleton hideaway, catapult, and hidden entrance) whilst also sticking to the architecture of the actual building.
I have loved building this. Thanks, Lego!
