The bold box art of the peculiar set LEGO #6687 was just the tip of the meteor for me as a youth. How was the truly unique cockpit build? And those wings... what's with those wings? Throw on a tail fin for good measures and you have an iconic spacecraft! In my micro-scale celebration, I tried to capture all the funky joy of the set including the box and box art.
