Starfleet Voyager (6929) Micro

Hard to say which would be my favourite all time set, but to me, this was the most special.

A 10th birthday present I built and re-built so many times that it didn't matter that I lost the instructions! (And, yes, I'm a little bit sad that I don't have this set any more.)

I have tried to use the limited techniques I know to lovingly recreate as much of the shape, and the odd function of the original with a slight Microfighters nod. (It's about 1/4 of the size of the original set.)

After 35 dark age years, I can't begin to describe how with every Stud.io mouse click I was transported back in time to the real brick clicks in my memory and heart. 

Starfleet Voyager, from what I can remember was a bold departure from the blue/grey/yellow colour scheme of the first Space sets and showed off many new techniques (at the time) that have remained vital to this day.

I would love to know more about the history of 6929 and welcome any comments.

BTW the happy red spaceman in this build is me!
