Micro Galaxy Explorer

My all time favourite Lego set is 497: Galaxy explorer, off course. It's a true classic and is probably one of the most recognisable sets ever made.

My love for Classic Space comes from my grandparents. Since my father had quite a large collection of sets when he was a child, his sets had been kept securely in the cellar of my grandparents house. When I was a child, I had the luck of getting these sets and I have not let them go ever since. The Galaxy Explorer, however, was not one of these sets. It was the one set I always wanted so after a long search on the internet, I was able to buy one. Now all these sets together are on display in my room, and they are definitely not going anywhere.

This creation is a show of my love for this set in micro-scale. I decided to include the box-art to capture the full view of this true icon.
