Micro Royal Knight's Castle
Growing up, the only large sets I was able to get my hands on were the sets I could raise money for myself. Therefore I missed out on a lot of amazing sets over the years since I was born in 1990. When I reached high school I finally had a summer income to try and track down some sets I missed over the years.
My favorite theme was always been anything relating to castles. While there were a lot of amazing castles that I missed out on, set number 6090 - Royal Knight's Castle caught my attention. I loved the raised baseplates of that age that added a level of depth to the sets but many of them were the same or at least similar. This set featured a baseplate with a larger footprint and seemed much more fascinating to me. I also loved that this set had a ghost minifigure and a couple fabric flags.
It wasn't until I started building the set that I realized how many other features it had such as the chest, the well, and the dungeons below.
The Royal Knight's Castle Awesome!
