Separatist Ambush

On a abandoned mining world edge of Separatist Space, a small group of troops are sent to investigate for potential future staging areas to gain the advantage needed to bring the war to a swift end. While investigating, a Viper Recon droid discovers the presence of these clones which it immediately contacts the Separatists who sends in a full company of droids to ambush. With no hope of aid from the Republic, these poor clones are forced to fend for themselves while their numbers dwindle. As a last stance, the remaining clones gathered around a crashed Y-wing preparing to take as many droids with them.

Thanks to Lego for finally motivating me to create a MOC for the very first time. I usually create short Lego Star Wars stop-motion videos and it was a refreshing experience to build a diorama for a change. I'm pretty proud of how the Republic Y-wing turned out with a complete droid socket as well as its iconic bubble turret. ^^
