Star Destroyer Skirmish

In this scene, a squadron of Rebel X-Wing fighters battle a fleet of Imperial Star Destroyers. This image uses a mixture of real and virtual LEGO bricks. The background is intentionally made from black tiles placed randomly, to give a brick-built feel. The Star Destroyers (real bricks) are made using interesting building techniques. There are no studs facing directly upward, and the bridge is attached upside-down to a gear piece, which itself connects via a gap in the angled pieces to a bar. The miniature scaled X-Wings and TIE fighters are also imaginatively built.

Although the scene is not from any frame in a particular movie, it could feasibly have occurred during the battles of Endor or Scarif, during a game-mode of Star Wars Battlefront or at any point during the Expanded Universe. Altogether, it is a thrilling battle scene which perfectly captures the spirit of the Star Wars galaxy.
