Vader, Boarding Party of One - Rogue One

This is a model of the penultimate scene in Rogue One where Vader boards the Profundity in an attempt to recover the Death Star plans. I made a model playset for capturing images in an attempt to recreate shots from the film. The ceilings are removable and the model is two hallways on hinges.

I bought an old Vader with a light up blade, but shooting shots of it lit was not working out. Instead, I used a red LED reading light to light the shots with one hand while I took pics with the other. 

I used photoshop to darken up some shots, made some contrast and shading tweeks, and added a smoke effect in Vader's lightsaber ignition shot.

I had never done something like this before, so I pretty much MacGyver'd my way through it all, which was fun.
