The Battle of Scarif: Fire of the Rebellion
The beautiful beaches of Scarif are under siege! My custom AT-ACT (inspired by one of the AT-AT sets but modified) towers over the battle and jump troopers picking out their next targets. Jyn and Cassian don't have many troops but they are the fire that will start the rebellion. This model is 96x96 studs and consists of 12,800 pieces. It was a great playground to test out a lot of new techniques and ideas I had such as the loose piece's on the impact of the crashed U-Wing and the broken windshield. The landing platform is also the first "snot" base I've made and it turned out pretty well. The bunker was super tricky to get right because of all the weird angles but with many flexible pieces, and wedges (some not even attached) I finally got it together. Of course, this is a contest, but I'd love any feedback you amazing Lego builders could give me as I put a ton of work into this and would love to improve it. Best of luck to everyone with an entry!
