The capture of Tantive IV
One sentence, just 9 words, arguably the most recognizable part of the star wars saga in pop culture worldwide. Every fan, hater and even ambivalent people know what those words proceed.
Ep 4 opening battle is an entire metaphor for the whole saga and instantly sets you up to root for the underdog before you even know who anyone is. My scene attempts to capture this battle with a 76 Star Wars rank and file minifig audience at a 3D viewing (& 1 "easter egg" minifig). Totaling over 5000 bricks including a 116 x 64 stud logo, 3D Title, Tantive IV, and front end of a USC scaled Destroyer.
As far as battles go, the capture of Tantive IV and the Princess appears to be very anti-climatic. Especially when compared to major cinematic battles such as Yavin, Hoth, Endor, Crait, Jakku, etc. However, its importance cannot be overstated as this opening battle is truly the start of the turning of the tide against the Empire when Vader unwittingly thrusts Luke into the center of the galactic conflict.
