Inside the Reactor | Battle of Endor
'Alright Wedge, go for the power regulator on the North Tower.'
'Copy Gold Leader. I'm already on my way out.'
From one of my favourite space battles in the Star Wars Saga, this is a model of the reactor core inside the Second Death Star as Wedge and Lando pilot their X-Wing and Millennium Falcon inside the superstructure to destroy the battle station once and for all!
This took me over a week to build, made more difficult by the fact that I fractured my wrist so I effectively had to build it one handed. I also ran out of pieces during building so I couldn't raise the edges and background up to the height that I wanted, however I feel it doesn't detract from the model. The rector core itself was so much fun to design! There are a lot of hidden details on the wall of the rector. See if you can find the rat!
