Duel on Kamino

Obi Wan vs Jango Fett. It would seem simple to predict the winner of this iconic match-up and yet it is a truly memorable duel that almost sees the end of both characters. I recreated this scene as I think it is a vastly under appreciated scene of Episode II. Initially I struggled to figure how I would build it since I had used the majority of my bricks constructing my Battle of Hoth scene. I roughly knew what the platform in the movie looked like so I thought I'd just build and see how far I could get. I ended up using a multitude of technic pieces in the stand and mainly flat pieces for the platform. Later, I added on a walkway heading back into the Kamino cloning facility. I put three technic pins on the end of the walkway to show that this build could be part of a combination build of multiple sets that join together to make a Kamino facility. I know this build is smaller and possibly less impressive than many of the other builds but it was fun to create and I am proud of it.
