Mechanical Fishing Holiday

What better way to enjoy the coast, than to enjoy all the nature!

This is a mechanical display piece depicting a couple and pet dog on a coastland holiday, where the boy is fishing and the girl is taking photos of all the surrounding nature.

 

Spin the gear and see the boy struggle against the fish. My son loves playing with this play feature. Here is a demonstration video using an early WIP.

 

Other than the brickbuilt fish, above the ocean there is a parrot, crab and seashell, while you can also look under the sea to find three colorful fish, seashells and plants (pictures 2 and 3).

 

Using 248 LEGO elements, this playable set can be incorporated into a coastal scene, or be displayed on its own.
