The Battle of the Bands
The Battle of the Bands starts now! Although it is not a violent battle, both bands are ready to put up a fight! On the left we have the infamous Blok Rockers. This heavy metal, or plastic in this case, band will only take victory as an answer. On the right we have the Swinging Studs. This brick brass band is ready to play some LEGO jazz standards. It appears that the competitors are jamming too hard. The lead players are deep into an improvisation battle, or a carving match. The Blok Rockers’ lead guitarist has struck an Earth shattering power chord, and the Swinging Stud’s lead trumpet player just hit a wailing high note! This battle is coming to a climax!
These figures were really fun to build, by mapping out the instruments and giving the figures such personality on such a small scale. Check out some closer shots of these talented musicians. As a saxophone player myself, the idea of a nonviolent, musical battle always sounds like fun. Which side do you think will win?
