The Epic Whack

Blacktron strikes yet again! Perhaps these oversized clubs will make 'em think twice before pestering the Classic Spacemen again. The battle is on! Why, even Benny is ready to give an heroic swing with his metal detector...

Though small, I had a lot of fun making this little map (aka landscape). The map is based on a rocky desert planet. The trickiest part of the battle scene was how to realistically suspend the Blacktron invaders in mid-air. I used transparent window parts to hold the Blacktron spacemen in place and even used (for the solitary Blacktron guy) a clear cup to give an interesting fall (please look closely in the top-center of the second image). I also visually arranged the Classic Spacemen from yellow to red (Benny randomly breaks this rule, but oh well).

These space minifigures are ranked among my top favorites. I hope you enjoyed the epic battle action   :)
