Location - Minas Tirith City of Kings

The Tower of Guard was founded upon the slopes of Mount Mindolluin in the south kingdom of Gondor. Majestic in its height and splendor. 

We wanted a model of Minas Tirith that can achieve an accurate representation of the proportions as well as the enormous scale of this vast city-fortress. This was accomplished using micro-scale. Featuring all seven levels of the city as described in the book and depicted in the LOTR movies by Peter Jackson, the outer wall is defended by a parapet and trebuchets. The ascending levels are mounted with gates, towers, houses, battlements, alcoves, finally crowned with the Hall of Kings and White Tower!
