Scene: Two in One the Hunt and the Ring

I wanted to create a scene from The Hobbit a part of the beginning of Lord of the rings. My plan was to show a little bit action and I wanted to build a Lego-moc which is interesting from „all“ sides.

So I decided to integrate two scenes in one moc. As you can see the main side shows the hunt for the dwarfs. For the small waterfall I tried to do something new. I used white wings for the splashing water. For the backside of the moc I wanted to show Bilbo looking for the ring. All the jewels are not interesting for him.

I started with a 16x16 baseplate. But the hard borders didńt look really organic. So I changed the building direction to give a more organic look.
