LOCATION: Amon Hen and the Falls of Rauros

About The Build:
This build is real physical brick. I lost track of how many bricks went into it, well over 20,000. My focus with this MOC was to practice detailed rock work & I also wanted to try my hand at building natural looking waterfalls. The falls cascade down three sides of the build (only two sides pictured). I used LEGO netting for the backing on the falls and thousands of slopes and bow shape pieces for the rock work.

The MOC stands 79cm high and is 84cm wide.

I thought it would be fun to add a small Rohirrim outpost partially up the cliffs, to the left of the falls.

The Significance of the Location:
Amon Hen was a hill on the Southwest banks of the lake Nen Hithoe. At its summit was the ruined structure known as the Seat of Seeing. Amon Hen was located above a magnificent set of falls known as the Falls of Rauros.

The Kingdom of Rohan and its people, the Rohirrim, inhabited the lands that lay to the east of the falls up to the East wall of Rohan and the River Anduin.
