Location: The Prancing Pony

Having narrowly escaped the terrifying Nazgûl, Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin seek refuge at The Prancing Pony inn, but even before they can finish their well-deserved pints, they find themselves in trouble again...

I chose The Prancing Pony because I find it a charming and significant place. Here, mysterious Aragorn makes his heroic appearance, and the hobbits have yet another close brush with death. This particular film scene is one of my favourites, full of tension and stunning images. When the Ringwraiths draw near, I cannot help but hold my breath. They are not there, right?

My build has two movable parts that turn to show the interior of the inn, and multiple rooms in which one can showcase various momentous scenes. This makes it a very playable set as well as a versatile model for display. It also contains some fun details, like the giant pints of ale that delight Merry and Pippin so or a newspaper featuring an article about trees coming alive.
