Location: Lothlórien

From the river to the balcony Lothlórien is full of details. This is a 100% legally built display piece. The special piece I used was a stone angel wing for the stone steps.

The main reason that I built Lothlórien is not only because of its simplicity and peacefulness, but also because Lothlórien is absolutely instrumental in the The Lord of the Rings. It is in Lothlórien that Samwise Gamgee gets the Mallorn seeds that he uses to bring the first new life to the Shire after Saruman takes over. It is also where Frodo is gifted the light of Eärendil that Sam uses to fend off Shelob in the caves of Torech Ungol. Were it not for the events in Lothlórien, Sam and Frodo would be dead in the caves, all the free peoples of Middle Earth would be united under the dark lord's reign, and the whole fellowship would be for naught.

This build is not only a great addition to Rivendell, but also a great addition to any LEGO builder's collection. For in the hearts of all remains the heart of Lórien.
