Scene: Gandalf Arrives at Bag End
Bag End is an iconic location from Middle Earth. One of the scenes that I think of when I think of Bag End is when Gandalf rides into town with his fireworks for the party and Frodo goes out to meet him. I built a diorama of Gandalf riding in his wagon with Frodo past the Shire. Samwise, Pippin and Merry are waving hello.
The build has 1892 pieces, with a 54x66 stud base. I used a myriad of interesting techniques for the build. I used sideways tiles for one of the windows. There is a lot of SNOT in the model as well. The ivy used 1x2 modified plates with a bar arm up, combined with 1x2 round plates with open studs. I also used some unique pieces for the fireworks, including a wand, a whisk, a chainsaw, and . . . a broom?
