Scene: Watcher in the Water Attacks

The Fellowship of the Ring is a movie I can watch time and time again. I love all the movies, but I really enjoy how adventurous and mysterious the locations feel in the first instalment particularly. The arrival at The Mines of Moria is no exception, with the glowing enchanted door revealed by moonlight and locked by a riddle. Whilst the conundrum provides some much needed downtime, nearby in the watery depths the Fellowship are studied and ready to be attacked by the Watcher in the Water. There are scant details about the Watcher in the Water and the other Nameless that built the tunnels far beneath Moria, and it’s fun to think that such details were unknown to even Tolkein himself. I believe the mystery as much as the known mythology can inspire our imaginations. This model has 1004 bricks.
