Location: The Shire; A Hobbits Homestead

I have for a long time now wanted to build a hobbit hole and this challenge was the perfect moment to do so! I did not really want to build an already visualized house from the Shire but one where I could have full creative freedome. I still wanted to tie my build to something from Tolkiens legendarium and decided upon the hobbit hole of Tobold Hornblower, the first hobbit to grow the pipe-weed plant.

A part of the build that I like is the area around the chimney which was tricky to build but does really give a cozy hobbit hole feeling. Other details include the tree build with woven leafs, the iconic round door build with SNOT, a SNOT pathway, flowing stone walls and fence as well as serene pond. The grass, or hill, was a challenge to construct especially around the door area where many diffrent angles needed to come together to capture the look I wanted.

Hope you like this build as mush as I do and that it brought you inspiration and ideas for future projects!
Happy building!
