Location: The Council of Elrond

When many people think of the lord of the rings they think of evil orcs, trolls, and other monsters. Many fans of the movies and books can tell you about ruins of ancient cities, dungeons and the eye of Sauron. But, what about the beautiful part of middle earth. For this challenge I pushed the limits of Lego and a full scale version of the council of Elrond. This massive project consists of about 1500 Lego bricks and is nearly 17 inches tall. I did my best to meet all the requirements for the competition and the judging phase. Firstly I kept the build on theme and built from the LOTR, not from the hobbit or something completely unrelated. I also did my best to build with interesting building techniques. The floor and roof do not connect to anything and simply slide into place, to give a very smooth and natural look. I also tried to build the council surrounded by plants and nature to give it a fantasy elf vibe. I also built a tree and tower to give the model a bit of height. Pls enjoy
