Scene: You Shall Not Pass!

This scene in the Lord of the Rings is definitely one of the most well known. Even before I learned about the series, I had already heard that phrase many times.

When I was younger, my father quoted this scene all the time, making it very special to me, bringing back countless memories.

I’ve attempted a larger-than-minifigure scale for the model, and unfortunately almost ran out of black bricks, limiting the possible size of the balrog.

I omitted the wings on the balrog simply because during the scene they are hard to see, due to the smoke.
