Location: Do You Remember the Shire?

Ahh... the shire. As much as the world of middle earth is filled with many stunning location I find none as recognizable as the humble village of the hobbits. It didn't take me long before I was certain what I was going to make for this challenge.

The model features a section of hobbiton, with references to a couple of different scenes. You may notice that some details don't quite line up with how they're seen in the movies. That is because this model isn't trying to be a 1 to 1 recreation of the movie scenes, but rather, a reinterpretation of the village capturing a similar feeling.
