Location: Barad-Dûr

Barad-dûr, or the Dark Tower, is one of most recognizable locations in Middle Earth, and has been recreated in all it’s grandeur in Lego form. One of the most dreaded structures in all of Mordor, it towers at 17.75 in. (45.1 cm.), which is my tallest MOC to date. The fiery Eye of Sauron sees all and rules this desolate land. This tower was made using both SNOT and standard build techniques, resulting in a stunningly accurate model of the dreaded fortress. It is built into the side of a mountain, with a lava moat surrounding the bits not covered by the cliff face. Now in Sauron’s opinion, this is the “One MOC to rule them all, One MOC to find them, One MOC to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.” He says essentially the same thing about his ring too.
