Location: Hobbiton

This build is made of 16,622 parts. I chose Hobbiton because of its importance. It is where the beginning takes place, and where it ends. This build features the mill, marketplace, several hobbit holes, the tents for Bilbo’s Party, Bag End, and the hill. One of the Hobbit holes (the one with Sam in front) is Sam’s house, and one is the house of the grumpy hobbit near Gandalf’s first fireworks. This took over 18 hours. I particularly like how the stonework on the houses in the marketplace, and Bag End’s hill. I built this painstakingly off scenes from the movie and online pictures from the movie. Since I still have letters, I am going to put some of my favorite quotes which happened in Hobbiton!
