Location: Shire Mill, Bridge, and Beyond!

Visit the shire and walk across the bridge for a relaxing day at the mill. There is plenty to see and do here! There is a dock for fishing, the mill for working (the wheel turns the grindstone), and a den upstairs for sharing stories. There are also some secrets hidden below. Gollum has taken up residence in the hidden cave and in the back of the build the space below the mill is put to good use. You can slide open the door and see a diorama of the Shire, Helms Deep, and Minas Tirith. There is also a diorama of the two towers and Mt. Doom. Press the button to light the eye of Sauron…or don’t! Either way there is room for plenty of fun. On the serious builder side of things this was a tough build full of challenges and I had to dig deep and never quit, like Frodo, to get it done! There aren’t really many locations to choose from in The Lord of the Rings, so I tried to share something new, I hope you enjoy and get some inspiration!
