Scene: Barrel Ride

This is a display model of the classic “Barrel Ride” scene. This scene takes place in the second Hobbit movie, the Desolation of Smaug. This model includes the barrel room, which is enclosed in rock, that has a shelf full of wine bottles, and opening and closing doors. The barrels are falling out of the doors, and into the raging river that leads straight to the elvish gate.

I built this model because it is one of the most iconic scenes from the Lord of the Rings/Hobbit movies, and one of my favorites.
