Location: Meduseld

Meduseld, more commonly known as "The Golden Hall", is the housekeep for the king of Rohan, Théoden, and his kin. Located in the city of Edoras, it was an important mainstay for the Rohirrim and was prevalent throughout the latter two Lord of the Rings films, with many iconic scenes taking place within these halls. This model aimed to recreate a number of these scenes in a playful manor, including moments such as: the last days of Théodred, the cleansing of Théoden from Saruman, the celebratory feast after the victory at Helms Deep, Pippin and the palantír, and the lighting of the beacons.

I have always been a big fan of the Lord of the Rings films, so I leapt at the opportunity to challenge myself with designing a model which encapsulates these brilliant films.
