Scene: The Dead Marshes

Frodo and Sam follow the cunning Gollum into the Dead Marshes. It is a maze of hummocks weaving between pools of stinking, stagnant water. Only spiders and the occasional rat can survive in this awful place. Take a break to eat some lembas bread if you want, but beware! Don’t fall in the mud, or get lured into the water by the creepy dead elves!
