Humming Harmony
A ruby-throated hummingbird hovers midair to glean the nectar of a wildflower in the peak of bloom.
Design
Recreating this tiny bird proved an enjoyable challenge, as each piece must serve to represent both accurate color and form of the real bird.
The specific kind of flower is fictitious, however I tried to recreate aspects that hummers may be partial to, such as the cone-like shape and vibrant red hue.
The model stands 4.5 in. (11.5 cm) tall and is comprised of 63 pieces.
Thank you!
I hope you enjoy this little build as much as I did creating it! Keep building!
