Pansies in the Snow - Picture Frame

Pansies have been my favourite flowers ever since I was a kid and apart from their shapes, colours & "Faces" one thing I like about them is that they don't agree with being indoors. They quickly wither in a vase and nobody really puts a pot of pansies in the living room. They are outdoor flowers, a big part of front yard spring around here and quite ofter have to weather some snow in their early days which makes for a beautifully vivid scenery.

I have long wanted a brick-built version of pansies and this challenge inspired me to find a suitable format to bring them inside: a picture frame with a true-size 3D display of different variants of pansies on snowy earth with a clear blue sky on a cold day in March, like a close-up photograph.

It's a rather simple build over all but exactly how I would love to put it in atop my book shelve - a country style wooden frame with colourful pansies in full bloom emerging from the melting snow marking the end of winter.
