Delph Vase and Flowers
We often have a vase of flowers on our table. It is hard enough to arrange real flowers in a vase but I now acknowledge with LEGO it’s even more difficult!
Challenging Myself:
- Not to use the same flower more than twice.
- If a flower is repeated then the colour & orientation are varied.
- Too many types of flower - the bunch became mismatched.
- Avoiding flowers that LEGO have already created.
- Arranging the flowers & foliage as a ‘bunch’.
- Balancing the amount & size of foliage & flowers in the vase.
- Articulating the stems to form a multi-faceted 3-Dimensional array of floral flamboyance.
- Creating a vase which was more than just a pot – Delph Pottery became my inspiration.
- Vase height to flower arrangement ratio (not top heavy or too squat).
- Fulfilling all of the above in a stimulating LEGO build with variety & visual appeal.
The piece count originally totalled 797 but it was missing something…for a little builders pleasure I have added two beetles & a Ladybug!
Piece Count: 800 exactly!
