Mahjong(Green Dragon)– A Festive Home Decoration for February
The Chinese Spring Festival ends on February 12 (the Lantern Festival). During the holidays, people play mahjong, paste Spring Festival couplets, receive red envelopes (lucky money), set off fireworks, and watch lanterns to celebrate the new year.
There are a total of 136 mahjong tiles (played by four people), and the "發" (Green Dragon) tile symbolizing wealth, career success, and prosperity. I enlarged the scale of mahjong so that it can be used as a tabletop display or storage box. The inner lid has three "8"s, representing "發" in Chinese. The lower cover includes minifigures holding red envelopes (lucky money), carrying lantern, or dragging rabbit lantern, with transparent gear parts simulating fireworks. The base displays the couplet "May you be prosperous".
Decorated in traditional Chinese colors—red, turquoise green, and gold—with vine and snake motifs (for the Year of the Snake, also known as the "Little Dragon"), it’s a festive home decoration for February. Thank you!
