Through the Lens

This is my attempt to take a concept I see when looking "through the lens of Afrofuturism" and make it visible. It is a forced perspective build, the glasses are suspended above the main section and I rendered the first picture from the point of view of looking through the glasses.

I attempted to match the contours of the continent of Africa as closely as possible which was an interesting and fun challenge. The rest is my imagination.

It is quite a literal, so I will let the pictures speak for themselves.
