When I look at the world as it is today, I do not see individual countries, I see one person. A person who is confused, lost, and distant. People step back from their phones and day to day lives that we all get caught up in and undo the blind folds that tell us who we are supposed to be. People need to see the world as it was intended to be, United. This building is an abstract form, inspired by Ekow. The hand is the viewer, as they are drawing out the united world as it should be. I have taken many places around the world and joined them into a perfectly balanced piece. It was difficult, but it reminded me that life is not easy, it takes work. If you can put in that work, you can dream as big as you want to. I know that this build does not have a lot of African symbolism, but the world that I want to live in, I do not want to see race as a separation method, but as a gift. so, I challenge you to take your gift and build your world brick by brick. Because you can change the world.
