Discovery
After crashlanding on a remote planet at the end of the know Galaxy, the Pilot searches for life. Low on supplies and exhausted from trekking through the barren crystal landscape the Pilot rests.
A glimmer of purple light awakes them. With their last ounce of energy, they climb further into the crystal canyon. Standing at the edge they discover a vast metropolis.
Safe for now in their discovery.
Next steps: secure passage off world to complete the mission…
About the model
My interpretation of Afrofuturism is putting storytelling at the centre.
The image was created in three sections:
- The foreground of the canyon is built at minifigure scale
- The midground as a micro city build
- The background using tile mosaic to represent the planets horizon
