The Last Hope

As my idea of afrofuturistic world I decided to reinterpret the Classic space theme of Lego in which astronauts don't go looking for new worlds but try to save the one they live in.

I was inspired by the current theme of pollution thinking of using black and black metal on the elements of uncontaminated nature to represent that every place, no matter how far away from human civilization, is now reached by smog and dust pollution. The nature becomes all dark and metallic in which the only colors are black and a few other metallic colors. There is only one twig left with some colored flowers...the rest, from rocks to flowers is all black and metallic black. 

 The only source of color are the minifigures of Classic space that represent the only possibility of nature to return to its colors.
