Messene Olympic Field

Some of the first organized sports in history took place in Ancient Greece.  The first Olympics took place in 776 BC, nearly 2800 years ago.  Many structures from their ancient civilization still stand today, which is where the inspiration for this idea came from.

Messene is one of the Olympic stadiums they built for citizens to watch and compete in the games!  The stadium has seats for the citizens and the judges, along with a place for the Olympic flame!  There is also a temple at the end of the way where they worship the Gods.
