Usain Bolt's 100m Record

Let me please introduce my contest entry : Usain Bolt's 100 meters World Record. This display model was carefully re-created from pictures of this major and historic event !

You can see the eight competitors, the starter, three reporters and a few spectators. The curved tiles on the sides of the model are colored in the official color theme of the 2009 Berlin World Championships in athletics, and I tried to make the whole model as realistic and detailed as possible. As an example, have a look at the track and see how well-aligned are the white and blue tiles. I had to make lots of researches to make the track smooth and the delimitations of the corridors clearly visible.

Unfortunately I was not able to put as many stickers or printed parts as I wanted in the virtual model, but be sure they will be there if my model is realized.

Finally, the ultimate detail is the official timer, that announces the record time of 9.58 seconds and in front of which Usain is proudly posing.
