Brick Ballpark

When I first read about this Lego Ideas contest related to love of sports, I got excited! I love Lego! I love sports! Seems like the perfect match and an easy build...right?

Well, as much of a sports fan that I considered myself to be, I found it was challenging to create a Lego build that represents my love of sports. When it came down to it, I just asked myself..what's the most joy I had related to sports...Baseball!

I've been going to baseball games since I was 6 years old, and it's been an experience that still brings joy to me as an adult. The excitement of knowing there are professional athletes nearby, to the joy of going to the concession stand with my father is a memory that still stays with me.

I created a build that represents how I feel at the ballpark. From envisioning how the players are in the locker room, to getting a hotdog with your family, I wanted to make a fun build that shows this excitement of game day!
