Freerunning in the Old Park

Story: A few friends have met in the old park for freerunning. An older man walking his little dog watches the youngsters with interest. "What are you guys doing?" he asks a girl who is skipping past him. She answers him, "Oh, that's freerunning. We do that everywhere. But I bet you didn't know anything like that when you were young. Didn't you?" At that, the older gentleman grins, "Oh, come on. We used to just call it going outside and romping."

Sport: The great thing about freerunning is that you can do it anywhere, anytime. It doesn't matter if you're old or young, tall or short. You don't need any special equipment or expensive training devices. Freerunning is not subject to any limits, it is constantly expanded by the ideas of the freerunners.

You move creatively and can use your entire environment without restrictions. However, it is not at all necessary to expose oneself to dangerous or daredevil situations. Efficiency and competition are not the main focus of freerunning.
