1995 Subaru Impreza World Rally Car

Welcome to my first ever contest entry.

This is my tribute to the iconic World Rally Championship winning Subaru Impreza, driven to success in 1995 by Colin McRae and co-driver, Derek Ringer.

It consists of 942 parts, and measures approximately 41 x 18cm.

This build posed some challenges, particularly around the angles of the bonnet (which is tethered at the correct angle by hinges underneath) and also the doors and frames.

Custom stickers include the Subaru badge on the grill, Subaru logo on rear, the 'STI' fog lamp covers, and the curved stripe logos, as well as Colin's #4 plate, and the famous 'L 555 BAT' number plates front and rear.  I could have added further custom stickers for the car sponsors, but did not want to include brands other than Subaru, in case it raised legal complications.
