The Good Ol' Cricket Ground
It's Stackers C.C. vs Octan C.C. for the Brick Cup, the most prestigious cricket trophy!
I love Lego (huge fan!) and I love cricket (also huge fan), and as a South Asian Canadian I would love to see more diversity and representation in Lego, so this is my contribution. It's a vignette of a cricket game in progress. Start the tuk tuk!
The "ball" is the lower part of a gear piece, while the "bat" is the weapon from the ancient warrior in Series 21 CMF. The stumps are older wands/sticks, and the "bail" is an ice skate. The whole pitch can be swapped between a brown and green one, and I tried to make an oval ground with whatever parts I had. You can use the white jumper tiles to position the bowler and batsman however you wish. The stand showing the bowler in the air is the same one used in the DC CMF series. I used about 250 pieces for this, but it can be reduced using larger plates and tiles.
