Equine Eventing Courses

I now present to you Eventing, one of three equine sports in the Olympics. In the Olympics, Equine sports are the only sports that have animal athletes and where woman and men compete together. Eventing consists of Jumping, Dressage, and Cross Country. In all three arenas, the crowd cheers loudly as an amazing horse and rider jump flawlessly or do a Piaffe beautifully. This competition is very difficult and if you make it to the Olympics, then you are a champion even if you don’t win a medal. At all the arenas, the judge sits quietly, observing the horse and rider to see if they perform a perfect round. In Dressage, the only part of the arena is the horse and rider, displaying a magnificent dance. In the jumping arena, all the jumps are colorful, yet high, testing the horse’s ability to make the jump smoothly. The Cross Country course tests the horse’s endurance, with big, difficult jumps including the keyhole jump and water jump.
