Game Night!!! Red & White Team vs Black & Blue Team

My son and my dad played foosball every time they met for holidays. They spent hours together on it knocking the ball back and forth. So, when the theme of Lego sports came up, the idea instantly popped into his head. But this idea was brought to life by myself and my daughter because she is crazy about Lego! Although we built so many mini creations at home (with the minimal Lego pieces we have!), this is my first entry into Lego Ideas. That is why this build is so special to us in so many different ways.

This is built on a 16x32 baseplate. The handles move, so the team members (minifigures) can actually kick the ball around and score goals like an actual foosball game. Being small and portable, this will travel with us wherever we go.
