The Park

In my opinion, sports aren't always about racing, or winning, or getting to the championships, but having fun outside with your friends and family.

In order to share this with you, I built this lego rendition of a park out of four hundred sixty four pieces, including four minifigures. the main components of the model are the two trees, the four figures, the skate park, the basketball court, and the bike trail. the dimensions are 32 studs by 32. 

I used studio to build this model, and I think it showcases both innovative building techniques, such as the arch of the half pipe, and classic lego connections, e.g. the tiles on the basketball court.

I hope that you can see the time I spent creating this, because while studio frees you from the 'do I have enough pieces' scenario, It takes a lot longer to build things. 

All this to say, I think this park represents sports for me, and I hope that it speaks to you as well.
