Triwizard Cup

What would be better than having a trophy to celebrate 20 years of Harry Potter! I figured the Triwizard Cup is the perfect trophy. I modeled it off the one used in the movie "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire." It took a lot of work and a lot of thinking to tackle the challenge presented by the curves and hexagonal shapes. Using a variety of hinges, turntables and similar elements hidden inside I was able mimic the hexagonal shape. It was fun finding creative ways to recreate the elements of this trophy using a variety of Lego pieces. As for the "20," I used 1x1 tiles with the numbers on them on the lower front of the trophy.
